I wait all year for the Spring and Summer festivals, and then just like that, three big ones are kicking off this weekend.

The Tribeca Film Festival landed in NYC last night, and if you're not lucky enough to have attended the premiere of Tina Fey's Baby Mama then fear not: It opens nationwide tomorrow. Also on tap during the two-week festival is the much-anticipated film Speed Racer, starring Emile Hirsch. But if you don't catch it at the fest, know that this flick is not hitting the mainstream theaters until May 9. Other notables to watch for: Redbelt (Chiwetel Ejiofor and Emily Mortimer), Finding Amanda (Matthew Broderick and Brittany Snow), and Tennessee (Mariah Carey — yes, Mariah Carey).

If you're more of a music festival gal, then you should know that you can still get tickets to Coachella this weekend (April 25-27, 2008) at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. They'll cost you though — one three-day pass is $269. The one-day passes sold out ages ago, though you may be able to find some on Craigslist.

Lastly, this weekend marks the first of the New Orleans Jazz Festival, which continues next weekend. Tickets run around $30 to $50 and can be purchased here. Don't worry if you can't make it down south;  you can listen to it all online at wwoz.org.
